| dc.description.abstract | The present study analyses 4361 citations appearing in 22 Ph.D. theses in soil science received by Rajendra Agricultural University, Pusa, Bihar, during the years 1980- 81 to 1987-88; attempts to identify the principal forms of literature used; prepares a ranked list of 38 most cited journals representing 84.40% of the total citations out of the 261 titles cited, provides the geographical distribution of the journals in the ranked list and the chronological distribution of all citations. Source analysis reveals that journals are the main source of information. | en_US |
